General Laborer – Structural Steel Manufacturing (Outdoor Work)
Location: South Granville County
First Shift | Temp-to-Hire
We are hiring a General Laborer for a busy structural steel manufacturing company serving the East Coast. This is an entry-level manufacturing position working outdoors, supporting the paint department with steel beam preparation and general labor duties.

Job Highlights:
- Assist paint department by cleaning and wiping steel beams to prep for painting
- Prepping steel beams: wiping and sanding
- Use paint sprayer for structural steel
- Assist with keeping the work area clean
Pay: $16.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties in a structural steel manufacturing environment

Prepare steel beams for painting by sanding and wiping surfaces

Support industrial painters with prep work and painting assistance

Operate sprayer for painting

Maintain a clean and organized outdoor work area

Follow safety procedures while working outdoors
