A respected local organization is urgently hiring an Administrative Assistant to support senior leadership within a fast-paced Health Sciences division. This is a highly visible role where your organization, communication, and follow-through will directly support departmental success.
Pay: $17.50/hour+
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Type: Temporary with strong potential for permanent placement
What You’ll Do
- Keep leadership organized with calendars, meeting coordination, and follow-ups
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, surveys, and professional documents
- Record and distribute accurate meeting minutes
- Manage incoming calls and communications with professionalism and discretion
- Coordinate internal mail and document flow within the division
- Support special projects and reporting needs as they arise
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of administrative experience (education or professional office environment preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Typing speed of 35+ WPM
- Highly organized, detail-driven, and proactive
- Strong communication skills with a polished, professional presence
- Associate’s degree in Office Administration or equivalent experience
