Job Description:
They are looking for a CNC Turret Punch Operator to operate and maintain their CNC punching machines. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC punch presses to create metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Responsibilities:
- Operates production equipment to produce assigned products in accordance with instructions and standards using CNC Turret Punch Presses and proper tooling.
- Completes equipment and tooling set ups in accordance with company procedures, customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Notifies supervisor of any product discrepancies, machine malfunctions or tooling issues.
- Records length of time, quantity of parts made/scrapped and materials used for each job.
- Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as necessary.
- Maintains work area in a safe, clean and orderly manner; this includes returning tools and samples to designated areas in working condition.
- Adheres to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Prior work experience operating a CNC Punch Press, Laser or Machining Center.
- Effective in using clear oral and written communication
- Experience with understanding and complying with company and OSHA safety requirements.
