We are seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure indoor comfort for residential, commercial, or industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and refrigeration units.
  • Inspect and test HVAC systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems (e.g., cleaning coils, changing filters, checking refrigerant levels).
  • Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure all installations and repairs are compliant with building codes and safety standards.
  • Calibrate and program smart thermostats and HVAC control systems.
  • Record work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients about issues and solutions.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and perform after-hours repairs when needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or technical school diploma.
  • EPA Section 608 Certification (Required).
  • 2+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigerants, electrical systems, and safety practices.
  • Ability to use HVAC diagnostic tools, gauges, and other equipment.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces or adverse weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NATE Certification or other advanced HVAC certifications.
  • Experience with both residential and commercial systems.
  • Familiarity with energy-efficient or green HVAC technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems.

Working Conditions:

  • May be exposed to hot or cold environments, heights, and confined spaces.
  • May involve evening, weekend, or on-call work.
  • Physical demands include standing, lifting, climbing, and kneeling.
