CNC Swiss Machinist – 2nd Shift #COH
Location: Mentor, Ohio
Pay:$25-$27 an hour | 10% Premium for OT
Schedule: 3:15PM to 1:45AM Monday – Thursday | 10-hour shifts OT as Needed
Job Overview:
Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to set up and operate Citizen Swiss machines (L32, L20) on the 2nd shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced aerospace environment with the chance to earn a 10% premium for overtime hours worked on Friday Saturday & Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Citizen Swiss machines with Mitsubishi controls (L32, L20).
- Perform basic machining practices and apply machining principles to daily operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Operate inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to ensure quality standards.
- Make tool offsets, set longitude and diameters, and perform tool changes (understanding of insert nomenclature).
- Changeover bar feed and handle setup adjustments.
- Program editing and setup experience is a plus.
- Follow documentation practices and adhere to company protocols.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating Citizen Swiss machines (L32, L20) with Mitsubishi controls.
- Strong knowledge of machining principles and ability to read blueprints.
- Experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Program editing and setup experience is a plus.
