Inspect machined parts, assemblies, and incoming products to engineering drawings and specifications

Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI)

Create and maintain product inspection forms and related documentation
-
Manage calibration of inspection and measurement equipment
-
Conduct internal testing and capability studies, including Gage R&R when required
-
Control inventory of labels and product tags
-
Document incoming inspections and product returns (RMA)
-
Process nonconforming material (NCMR) and scrap per company procedures
-
Support workflow creation for First Piece inspections and product changes (FIFO)
-
Scan and maintain vendor/supplier Certificates of Conformance (COC) in SharePoint
-
Adhere to ISO and company quality management processes
-
Participate in deviation and corrective action processes
-
Collaborate with engineering on measurement of critical dimensions for new products
-
Assist with 5S and Lean initiatives in the Quality Department
-
Support cross-training and employee development programs
-
Communicate quality issues promptly to customer service, vendors, and purchasing
-
Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure closure
-
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned

High School diploma or GED required
-
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required for charting)

General knowledge of visual inspection techniques
-
Advanced knowledge of inspection equipment, including:
-
Experience with calibration techniques preferred
-
ISO and MRP/ERP system experience preferred
-
Ability to complete root cause analysis
-
Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/CAD drawings
-
Experience maintaining tools and equipment
-
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Self-starter with effective time management skills
