Primary Responsibilities:
1. Metal Finishing Operations
-
Perform grinding, sanding, feathering, and other finishing tasks on all routed parts using appropriate equipment, materials, and methods to prepare components for the next operation.

Gather necessary supplies and equipment from stockroom or utility personnel.

Identify and pull parts needed from inventory according to the work schedule.

Remove unnecessary parts from the work area to maintain efficiency.

Periodically check work to ensure compliance with all quality standards.

Store and secure all tools properly at the end of the shift.

Report any material or part shortages to the supervisor promptly.
2. Reporting & Documentation

Report to the designated supervisor for daily assignments.

Accurately complete time sheets or electronic entries, documenting labor, materials, components, and products moved.

Report any issues, problems, or quality concerns to the supervisor immediately.
3. Safety & Quality
-
Follow all personal and equipment safety rules.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Ensure quality at every stage by checking materials and products before, during, and after each operation, notifying supervisors of any defects.
