Set up and operate powder coating guns with proper gun tips and settings

Adjust gun controls, reciprocators, pressure, distance, and electrostatic charge per routing instructions

Load appropriate powder into paint hoppers and monitor powder levels

Adjust bake oven width and heating elements based on product requirements

Use thermometers to verify painted part temperatures as needed

Monitor washer operations, including pH, titration levels, pumps, and spray nozzles

Inspect parts during the coating process to ensure quality standards are met

Perform manual powder coating using portable hand guns when required

Clean powder guns, booths, hoses, and equipment during color changes

Perform required cleanup activities throughout the shift and at shift end

Track and inventory powder, chemicals, and related materials
-
Operate washer and blow-off oven during startup, breaks, lunch, and shutdown
-
Clean mesh screens daily or as needed
-
Move finished products to designated locations and record inventory movements
