Job Full Description
Our client in Painesville is seeking a dependable Final Inspector to join their team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for inspecting metal parts and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read measuring tools, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect metal components and finished parts for quality, accuracy, and defects
- Verify parts meet specifications, blueprints, and quality standards
- Record inspection results and maintain accurate documentation
- Identify and report non-conforming products to supervisors or quality team
- Work closely with production staff to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Previous inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to use basic measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work instructions (preferred)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs if needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
