They are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support a dynamic production environment and contribute to a positive employee experience across the organization.
Position Overview
The Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in supporting daily HR operations within a manufacturing setting. This individual will partner closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliance, support engagement initiatives, and drive effective workforce practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company goals
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives
- Oversee payroll administration and processing
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, reporting, and documentation
- Administer benefits and compensation programs in compliance with applicable regulations
- Maintain personnel files and support the implementation of HR best practices
- Partner with operations leadership on workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies
- Administer workers’ compensation and company 401(k) programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
