They are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support a dynamic production environment and contribute to a positive employee experience across the organization.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Generalist will play a vital role in supporting daily HR operations within a manufacturing setting. This individual will partner closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliance, support engagement initiatives, and drive effective workforce practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with company goals
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and facilitating resolutions
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives
  • Oversee payroll administration and processing
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, reporting, and documentation
  • Administer benefits and compensation programs in compliance with applicable regulations
  • Maintain personnel files and support the implementation of HR best practices
  • Partner with operations leadership on workforce planning, engagement, and retention strategies
  • Administer workers’ compensation and company 401(k) programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
