Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking a skilled and dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up press brake machines, including installing tools and dies, and calibrating equipment.
• Program the press brake machine for specific tasks, inputting measurements and specifications.
• Operate the press brake machine, monitoring the process and making adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machine to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues during the bending process.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle heavy materials.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
