Our client, a growing construction company in Concord, is seeking motivated and dependable General Laborers to support commercial and residential construction projects. This hands-on position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, learning new skills, and contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist construction crews with daily job site activities
- Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after construction activities
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and perform basic site preparation
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, laborers, and equipment operators
- Set up and remove temporary structures, barricades, and safety equipment
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment
- Complete other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
- Previous construction, landscaping, concrete, roofing, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven surfaces throughout the day
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
