Job Full Description
Our client in Mentor is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team immediately. This is a 1st shift opportunity offering $20-$25/hr based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect machined and fabricated products to blueprint specifications
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain documentation
- Create and maintain inspection reports and quality records
- Conduct capability studies and Gage R&R activities
- Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment
- Support ISO compliance, audits, 5S, and Lean initiatives
- Investigate quality issues and assist with corrective actions
- Work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Vendors, and Production teams
- Track and report Quality KPIs and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing quality experience (Quality Technician or Lead role)
- Previous weldment inspection experience required
- Strong blueprint and CAD drawing interpretation skills
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Proficient with Excel for reporting and charting
- ISO and MRP/ERP experience preferred
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
