Job Full Description
Our client in Wickliffe, OH is seeking a Working Lead to support daily production operations while providing hands-on leadership to a team on 3rd shift. This position is responsible for coordinating workflow, assisting with training, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and serving as a liaison between employees and supervisors.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and support daily production activities while performing production duties.
- Coordinate work assignments to meet production schedules.
- Train and mentor new and existing employees.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with work instructions.
- Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues and escalating concerns as needed.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Communicate shift updates, priorities, and performance to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience required; aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
- Prior leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and production documents.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
