Job Full Description
Our client is Willoughby, OH is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in unit turns, remodeling, and rehabilitation work. This role will primarily focus on preparing apartment units for new tenant occupancy, ensuring each space is fully updated, functional, and move-in ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete full unit turns, including repairs, upgrades, and general refurbishment
- Perform remodeling tasks such as flooring, painting, drywall repair, and basic carpentry
- Ensure units meet quality and cleanliness standards prior to new tenant move-in
- Address general maintenance and service requests as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in unit turns, apartment rehab, or remodeling (Redac experience a plus)
- Strong general maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Additional Information:
- Majority of work will focus on unit preparation and upgrades
- Occasional service/maintenance requests will be part of daily responsibilities
