Tool & Die Maker – 1st Shift
Our client in Mentor, OH is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join a growing metal manufacturing operation. This position supports production through the setup, maintenance, and repair of tooling used in stamping and roll forming processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build, repair, and maintain tooling for metal forming operations
- Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers
- Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of tool and die experience preferred
- Apprentices encouraged to apply
- Strong understanding of tool and die processes and metal fabrication
- Ability to read prints and perform precise measurements
