CNC Lathe & Milling Machine Operator/Machinist – HAAS Experience Required

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe and Milling Machine Operator/Set-Up Machinist to join their growing team. Candidates must have hands-on HAAS CNC machine experience and the ability to set up, operate, and produce high-quality precision parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and milling machines according to job specifications
• Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed
• Edit and optimize CNC programs (manual code experience a plus)
• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent production and quality
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Previous HAAS CNC machine experience
• Experience with CNC lathe and milling machine setup and operation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and machine adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Manufacturing experience with a focus on safety and precision
