Our client in Painesville, OH is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control / Testing Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process, operating testing equipment, and identifying defects to ensure customer and company standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test paper products for quality and consistency.
• Operate testing and production equipment as needed.
• Monitor product output and identify defects or quality concerns.
• Accurately record test results, defects, and production incidents.
• Load paper rolls and bundles into testing equipment as required.
• Follow quality procedures, safety standards, and production guidelines.
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production personnel.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move paper rolls, bundles, and materials as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort operating machinery.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Previous manufacturing, quality control, or machine operation experience preferred.
