2nd Shift CNC Operator
Location: Mentor, Ohio

Job Summary
Our client in Mentor, Ohio is seeking experienced CNC Operators for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidates will have experience operating CNC machinery in a precision manufacturing environment and be comfortable working independently while maintaining quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently during the 2nd shift.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
- Monitor machine cycles and production processes.
- Perform basic machine adjustments and tool changes as needed.
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.
- Identify quality issues and make appropriate adjustments or notify the setup technician.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Keep machines and work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machine operating experience preferred.
- Experience with CNC lathes, mills, or Swiss-type machines is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 2nd shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
