Maintenance Support

Job Summary
Our client in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a dependable Maintenance Support team member to assist with the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist maintenance personnel with repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs and adjustments.
- Help troubleshoot equipment issues and identify potential problems.
- Assist with machine lubrication, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
- Support maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
- Help maintain and organize the maintenance area, tools, and spare parts.
- Assist with facility maintenance and general repairs as needed.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
- Respond to equipment and facility maintenance needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve basic equipment problems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment or materials as required.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
