Our client in Eastlake is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a 1st Shift opportunity. This position is responsible for building, wiring, and testing electrical control panels while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met.
Schedule: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Wire and assemble electrical control panels
- Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly, including pneumatic and fluid systems
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections
- Verify components, drill, tap, and mount electrical hardware
- Maintain project documentation and inventory records
- Follow electrical codes, UL standards, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Qualifications:
- 2-year Electrical Degree or Electrical Certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience building and wiring electrical panels
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of basic UL standards
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
