General Laborer - Apartment Complex Maintenance & Renovation
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with apartment turnover, maintenance, and renovation projects at a local apartment complex. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and takes pride in helping prepare units for new residents.
Responsibilities:
- Apartment and unit clean-outs
- Removal of furniture, appliances, and debris
- Light demolition work, including removal of flooring, cabinets, drywall, and fixtures
- General labor and cleanup of work areas
- Loading and unloading materials and supplies
- Assisting maintenance and renovation crews as needed
- Basic repairs and property upkeep
- Painting and touch-up work (experience is a major plus)
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous general labor, construction, maintenance, or demolition experience preferred
- Painting experience is highly desired
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when needed
