Shipping & Receiving Associate

Our client in Eastlake is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and shipments.
- Prepare, package, and ship finished products according to customer requirements.
- Load and unload trucks using material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
- Pick, stage, and organize materials for production and customer orders.
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and documented.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to meet shipping deadlines.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to read shipping documents, packing slips, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
