Cleaner / Apartment Community Housekeeper

Location: Mentor, Ohio
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday

Our client, a well-maintained apartment community in Mentor, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. This position is responsible for cleaning common areas, preparing vacant units for move-ins, and assisting with outdoor property upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean hallways, entryways, stairwells, and other common areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize shared community spaces
• Clean and prepare vacant apartment units for new residents
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, windows, and flooring in vacant units
• Remove trash and debris from common areas and vacant apartments
• Perform outdoor property cleanup, including picking up litter and maintaining the appearance of sidewalks, entryways, parking areas, and grounds
• Assist with seasonal outdoor cleanup as needed
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages to management
• Follow established cleaning and safety procedures
• Complete other general housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or apartment turnover experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
