Job Full Description
Our client in Willoughby, OH is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance & Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout a warehouse facility. This position focuses on general housekeeping, floor care, waste removal, recycling, and pallet organization to support daily warehouse operations.
Responsibilities

Operate floor scrubbers and other powered cleaning equipment to maintain warehouse floors and aisles.

Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.

Collect, sort, and dispose of cardboard and recyclable materials.

Maintain clean and organized warehouse aisles, storage areas, loading docks, and common spaces.

Collect, sort, stack, and prepare pallets for shipment or recycling.

Remove debris and ensure walkways remain clear of obstructions and safety hazards.

Perform routine inspections of assigned areas and report maintenance or safety concerns.

Follow all established safety procedures and housekeeping standards.

Assist with general facility maintenance and warehouse support tasks as needed.
Qualifications
-
Previous warehouse, janitorial, sanitation, or facilities experience preferred.

Ability to operate or learn to operate powered cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers.

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Good time management and ability to work independently.
