Job Full Description

Express is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable, and able to handle a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.

  • Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining organized records.

  • Support event coordination and community programs by managing communications, materials, and logistics.

  • Update and maintain databases, contact lists, and filing systems.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

  • Assist with social media posts, newsletters, and community outreach as needed.

  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as processing invoices or tracking expenses.

  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional office environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills.

  • QuickBooks experience preferred but not required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Friendly, professional demeanor and commitment to customer service.
