Production Worker
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–3:00 AM
Compensation: $16/hour
Job Summary
A local organization is seeking Production Workers to assist with general labor and boxing tasks. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including boxing and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols in production areas
- Wear required protective gear: hair net, bump cap, and beard net (if applicable)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with food-safe handling procedures
Workplace Requirements
- Steel-toed or safety shoes required
- Khaki pants required
- No jewelry allowed in production areas (including earrings, rings, necklaces, watches, etc.)
- Only medical alert IDs are permitted
- Gloves available for rings that cannot be removed or acrylic nails
- No Bluetooth devices, cell phones, or electronics allowed in direct food contact areas
- Devices must be stored below the waist or inside uniforms
- No open-toe or open-back shoes
- Hands must be washed with soap and hot water before entering production areas
- No food, drinks, candy, gum, cigarettes, or chewing tobacco allowed in production or warehouse areas
- Smoking permitted only in designated areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to follow detailed hygiene and safety protocols
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work early morning shifts
