Job Full Description
Operation Support Specialist – Day Shift
Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $18/hour
Job Summary
A local organization is seeking an Operation Support Specialist to assist with employee relations, scheduling, and HR support. This role requires strong communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to manage time-sensitive issues across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve employee issues reported via phone, web, and email
- Address general complaints, scheduling conflicts, and time-sensitive concerns
- Initiate leaves of absence and troubleshoot employee systems (e.g., KIOSK)
- Assist with time and attendance tracking and other administrative duties
- Review and prepare employee schedules; replace call-ins
- Answer phones, emails, and radio communications
- Issue Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Respond to employee questions and concerns
- Update attendance programs and route disciplinary forms
- Review timekeeping systems for accuracy
- Process vacation requests, PTO, and leaves of absence
- Assist employees with initiating the FMLA/OFLA process
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Computer literate and able to multitask
- Experience in HR or administrative support roles preferred
- Reliable and flexible with scheduling
- Able to work any day of the week
