Job Full Description
A national leader in piping, fittings, valves, and all accessories for the energy, oil & gas, utility, construction, water and sewer industries is in need of a Driver.
Driver, Non CDL - Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, $23/hour
Responsibilities:
* Follow safety rules and work procedures.
* Drives 26' straight truck to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
* Checks receipts for load picked up. Makes sure all paperwork comes back and get handed to supervisor
* May maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
* Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
* Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
* May load and unload truck
* Pre and post inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
* Must wear safety shoes or boots with a safety toe
* Performs other duties as needed.
Must have at least 1 year of Flat Bed experience
Must have DOT card
Must have clean background
