Express Employment Professionals Specialized Recruiting Group is hiring for a full time Accountant. Our client is looking for an individual to lead financial control procedures and systems. The ideal candidate will maintain documents for audits of hotel accounts; ensure compliance with government regulations and contractual agreements.
This is a direct hire position. It is onsite 5 days a week in the office. Our client offers a competitive package including an annual salary of $55,000 to $70,000 depending on experience.
Our client is a well-known Hotel in Philadelphia with modern accommodations located just steps from shopping, dining, entertainment and historic attractions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Accountant: Focuses on maximizing business profitability by maintaining precise and timely financial reporting, upholding strong internal controls, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, and protecting the assets of owners and investors.
Ideal Areas of Expertise:
- Oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit management, payroll administration, and cash-handling procedures within the finance department.
- Conducts financial performance assessments for hotel operations, analyzing variances and providing strategic recommendations to optimize profitability.
- Leads the development of budgets, financial projections, and comprehensive reporting to support decision-making.
