Job Full Description
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: York, SC
Shift: Monday-Friday (2:45 pm-10:45 pm)
Pay: $17.80/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform any machining operations as assigned by the team lead or production supervisor
- Setup and operate trim presses, various port and stem machines, vibratory machines, drill and tap fixturing
- Work in a quality-conscious and safe manner
- Perform work at process speed and/or standard rates
- Advise supervisor of any problems with tools, equipment, fixtures, materials, or setup
- Maintain daily product and scrap records
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the machine shop or production supervisor
Skills Required:
- Must be able to read, write, and count
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work sitting or standing for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Follow all plant and departmental safety rules and regulations
Requirements:
- Some recent work history as a Machine Operator
- Manufacturing experience
