🚚 Now Hiring: Driver & Stair Installation Technician – South Charlotte, NC 🛠️
💵 Pay: $24.00–$25.00/hr | 🕒 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 📅 Monday–Friday
A custom stair manufacturer in South Charlotte is looking for a reliable, customer-friendly Driver/Installer to join their team. If you enjoy hands-on work, have mechanical or installation experience, and a safety-first mindset — this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a 26’ box truck to deliver custom stair systems
- Install straight and curved stair systems on construction sites
- Use hand and power tools to cut, level, shim, and secure stair components
- Read layouts and blueprints; follow site-specific instructions
- Load, deliver, and unload stairs (up to 75 lbs.)
- Occasionally assist in the warehouse
- Interact professionally with customers and site personnel
Requirements:
- Valid DOT Medical Card (up-to-date)
- Experience with mechanical assembly or installation
- Experience using hand tools, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety awareness
- Customer service skills and a positive attitude
