Heavy Equipment Technician / Aerial Lift Reconfiguration Tech

Location: Rock Hill, SC
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $20.00/hr

Position Summary

This role focuses on reconfiguring, assembling, and inspecting industrial 4-wheel-drive aerial lift equipment. Work includes both indoor shop tasks and limited outdoor activity as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconfigure a wide range of industrial 4WD aerial lifts, including boom lifts, telehandlers, and scissor lifts.
• Conduct detailed, hands-on inspections of units, covering mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical components.
• Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of various lift models.
• Learn and apply correct procedures to reconfigure and assemble/disassemble multiple types of boom lifts.
• Install or replace customer-specific items such as lights, seats, decals, tires, and similar components.
• Move and position aerial lifts safely after completing required training.
• Work in both indoor shop environments and outdoor areas when needed (not all-day outdoor work).
• Adapt to changing tasks and daily priorities; provide support across departments as needed (cross-trained role).
