Machinist – Manual & CNC Lathe/Mill

Location: York, SC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are adding a skilled machinist who enjoys hands‑on work with manual lathes and milling machines as well as CNC lathe operations. This role covers everything from running machines to producing high‑accuracy parts for daily production jobs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Run manual lathes and manual milling machines
• Operate and set up CNC lathe machines (multi‑axis)
• Work with Fanuc controls using G & M Codes
• Read and interpret prints, plans, and programs
• Perform adjustments, offsets, and basic editing
• Produce parts for a variety of jobs — work changes daily
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions
• Handle job setups and machine controls
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain a friendly, motivated work environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Fanuc CNC controls
• Strong understanding of G-Code and M-Code
• Ability to perform tool changes and setups
• Programming experience is a strong plus
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot machines during production

Physical Requirements

• Standing, moving, walking, bending, and squatting throughout the shift
• Lifting materials and parts as needed
• Working around CNC lathes, mills, and shop equipment
