Position Overview
Forklift Operator (Off-Road / Heavy Materials)
We are hiring an experienced forklift operator to handle large, heavy pipe materials in a fast-paced yard/warehouse setting. This role involves operating off-road forklifts, loading and unloading materials, and supporting daily operations with accuracy and safety in mind.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operator (Off-Road / Heavy Materials)
- Operate large off-road forklifts to move pipe materials (21’–42’ in length, up to 28,000 lbs)
- Load and unload materials from flatbed trucks into designated pipe bin locations
- Pull, tally, and stage orders for shipment, transfer, and customer pickup (will call)
- Verify accuracy and quality of all incoming and outgoing materials
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures
- Assist in other warehouse areas as needed
What We’re Looking For
Forklift Operator (Off-Road / Heavy Materials)
- Previous forklift experience (heavy or off-road equipment preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and order verification
- Knowledge of proper materials handling techniques
- Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- Consistent performance in completing tasks safely and efficiently
