Responsibilities
Entry-Level Lab Testing Technician
- Perform final inspections of tensile test specimens
- Conduct tensile testing on steel products and materials
- Review, document, and report test data accurately
- Fabricate thermocouples used in testing processes
- Perform stress rupture testing procedures
- Complete final inspections of tested materials
- Use microscopes and other laboratory testing equipment to inspect samples
- Follow quality standards, testing procedures, and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records and testing documentation
- Keep laboratory and testing areas organized and operational
Qualifications
Entry-Level Lab Testing Technician
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to learn laboratory testing procedures and equipment
- Comfortable working with microscopes and precision measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a 12-hour shift
- Dependable attendance and positive work ethic
