Pay: $28/hr.
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Set up machines and adjust tooling to maintain required tolerances and specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments during production
- Work independently with minimal supervision during overnight operations
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC machining experience preferred
- Experience operating manual lathes and milling machines is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions
- Strong understanding of machining practices and precision measurements
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a job shop manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed
