Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift (Floater)
Pay: Starting at $21.05/hour
Position Summary
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a local company to source a motivated Production Supervisor to lead quality inspection teams on 3rd shift. This role is responsible for supervising employees, coordinating daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support inspectors and team leaders to achieve daily production and quality goals.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment while ensuring company policies and safety standards are followed.
- Schedule employees and coordinate staffing to meet customer demands.
- Train, onboard, and develop team members while providing performance feedback.
- Review and approve employee timecards and maintain accurate production records.
- Work closely with customers, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations.
- Conduct quality audits and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate travel and necessary supplies for off-site projects.
- Communicate staffing needs, operational updates, and potential business opportunities to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, or a related environment preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required; local travel between multiple locations in the Greenville/Spartanburg areas will be required.
- Must successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and post-offer physical.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently (up to 75 pounds with assistance).
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
