Duties include:

Set up, monitor, and remove traffic control signs, cones, and barriers at work zones

Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic using hand signals, signs, or two-way radios

Follow safety guidelines and traffic laws to ensure the protection of workers and the public

Communicate clearly with construction crews and flaggers to coordinate traffic flow

Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures to prevent delays or accidents
