Trailer Repair Technician
Location: Cookeville, TN
Pay: $15-17/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Trailer Repair Technician in Cookeville, TN. This role focuses on repairing and maintaining semi trailers and car haulers, including structural and mechanical components.
Job Responsibilities:
- Repair and replace trailer floors (wood and metal)
- Inspect, service, and replace wheel bearings
- Diagnose and repair brake systems (air and electric)
- Perform general trailer maintenance and structural repairs
- Use hand and power tools to complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Inspect trailers for safety and DOT compliance
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with trailer, heavy equipment, or automotive repair preferred
- Knowledge of brake systems and bearing replacement
- Ability to lift, bend, and work in a shop environment
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tools
- Welding experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be dependable and safety-conscious
