Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Welder to join a manufacturing and fabrication team. This position is responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks to assemble metal components while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform welding tasks, including MIG and other applicable welding processes, to join metal components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.

Assist in the fabrication and assembly of metal components such as tanks, frames, brackets, and other structural parts.

Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity in accordance with industry standards.

Safely handle welding materials, gases, and equipment while following established safety procedures.

Maintain welding equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.

Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Work collaboratively with fabrication and production team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Troubleshoot welding or assembly issues and assist in resolving fabrication challenges.

Maintain records of welding activities, materials used, and any adjustments made to procedures.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment as required.

Assist other team members as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Knowledge of MIG welding and other welding techniques

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or shop environment

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
