Assembler III
Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Assembler III to join a production team. This senior-level position is responsible for assembling complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to interpret detailed schematics and diagrams. This role also serves as a resource to other assembly team members and plays a key role in ensuring product quality, functionality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble complex components and integrated systems following blueprints, electrical schematics, and hydraulic diagrams
Perform advanced wiring of control panels and electrical systems
Install, wire, and troubleshoot PTO and hydraulic systems
Mount tanks, install reel mounts, compressors, and related mechanical components
Plumb and fit compressors, hydraulic lines, and associated assemblies
Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic tools, and testing equipment
Conduct functional testing and quality inspections on completed systems
Independently troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Operate forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment as required (certification required)
Maintain accurate production logs and quality documentation
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and document deviations or improvements
Utilize company software for production tracking and daily tasks
Communicate technical issues to supervisors as needed
Assist in mentoring and guiding junior assemblers
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Wear required PPE and adhere to all safety guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical training or manufacturing certifications preferred
Previous advanced assembly experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Proficient with hand and power tools
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Physical Requirements
Regular use of hands and tools
Frequent standing, walking, and reaching
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to safely operate a forklift and maintain required certifications
