Accounts Payable Accounting ClerkJob SummaryAs an Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. Responsible for processing and managing accounts payable records and transactions, you will ensure the timely and accurate payment of invoices, while also supporting accounts receivable functions.Key Responsibilities- Process and record accounts payable invoices and payments- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, such as invoicing and collections- Utilize finance software and Microsoft Office suite to complete daily tasks- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholdersQualifications- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role- Proficient in using finance software and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWorking ConditionsThis is an office-based role with a standard Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week, M-F 8am-5pm. The work environment is low-risk, with minimal physical demands.Compensation and BenefitsThe pay rate for this Temp to Hire Accounts Payable Accounting Clerk position ranges from $17 to $18 per hour, depending on experience.
