Responsibilities
- Lead and guide sanitation workers to meet daily schedules
- Train and monitor staff to ensure compliance with SSOPs, GMPs, and safety rules
- Perform sanitation tasks alongside the team
- Safely disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning
- Monitor sanitizer/chemical concentrations and maintain proper storage
- Keep the facility audit-ready and support internal and external audits
- Complete required sanitation records and documentation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- 3–4 years of progressive sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Prior experience leading or training sanitation personnel
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs
- English/Spanish required
- Strong knowledge of:
- Food safety principles
- Chemical safety
- CIP/COP
- QA, SQF, HACCP, GMPs
- OSHA, FDA, USDA, EPA regulatory compliance
- Sanitation operations
- Ability to perform math functions (ratios, weights, measurements, etc.)
