Job Full Description
Position Type: Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist
Pay: $22.00/HR
Location: Webster, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time
- Apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire, credit cards) to accounts
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding billing questions and payment status
- Resolve billing discrepancies and short-pay issues
- Maintain customer records, credit limits, and tax documentation as needed
- Assist with month-end AR close, reconciliations, and reporting
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Accounting teams
- Support audits and provide documentation when requested
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Accounting support
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution preferred
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Macola experience a plus)
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
