Position Type: Human Resources Intern
Pay: $20.00/HR
Location: Deer Park, TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition Support: – Assist with recruiting activities including candidate tracking and digital recruitment campaigns on LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads, and YouTube
- Employee Engagement & Events: – Help plan and execute employee events and initiatives – Assist with room setup for training sessions and meetings
- HR Operations & Administration: – Support on/offboarding processes, benefits administration, and employee records management – Assist with performance evaluations, training coordination, and reporting
- HR Data Management: – Maintain and update HR databases and spreadsheets – Track key metrics related to hiring, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement
- Ad Hoc Projects: – Contribute to special HR projects and departmental initiatives as needed
- Travel Support: – Potentially support and attend local recruiting and training events
Qualifications
- Current enrollment as a rising junior or senior in college (3.0 GPA minimum) or recent graduate in HR, Business Management, Organizational Development, or related field
- Ability to work 20–25 hours/week during the school year
