Job Full Description
Material handler will distribute oils and coolant to machines, this position requires heavy lifting, cleaning of oil/coolant spills, and lots of walking to distribute oils and coolant.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm
Pay: $12.50
Technical Job Functions:
- Kit, pick, issue, and deliver all materials to production areas using established procedures.
- Demonstrate good judgment of dimensions for materials and movement throughout production areas.
- Demonstrate proper handling and safety of material handling equipment.
- Conduct counts and verify inventory levels throughout the production areas.
- Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify facilitator/coordinator of hazardous situations.
Authorities and Responsibilities
- Assumes other projects and responsibilities as directed.
- Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
- Position reports to the Production Control Manager.
- Primary contacts are all manufacturing, various office areas, order entry, production scheduling, and warehouse.
- May have contact with outside vendors, must communicate well at all levels, and exhibit effective team skills.
- This position is accountable for daily activities with kitting, picking, and delivery to production areas. Perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to Drive a forklift, use scanners, computers, Shipping and Receiving Experience.
