As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within our organization. Your attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data will contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. Responsibilities:
- Enter data into various file formats, including Excel spreadsheets and databases
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Collect and verify data for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with order entry and tracking
- Create and maintain pivot tables to analyze data
- Perform basic math calculations as needed
- Assist dispatchers in coordinating and scheduling transportation services for our fleet of vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and field personnel to ensure efficient routes and timely deliveries.
- Answer phone calls and emails from drivers, customers, and internal team members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Relay critical information to the appropriate parties promptly and accurately.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Previous experience in data entry or dispatch work preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with pivot tables and basic math concepts
