Resident & Guest Specialist

Worksite: Apartment complex in McAllen,Tx  (may rotate between properties)
Reports to: Real Estate Manager
Employment Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; some Saturdays for tours, events, or peak traffic periods. (10am-2pm)

Position Overview

The Resident & Guest Specialist serves as the community’s first point of contact for residents, prospects, and guests. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, supporting leasing efforts, coordinating resident communications, and maintaining a professional and welcoming front desk experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk & Guest Services: Greet residents and visitors, manage visitor logs, keys/fobs, packages, and ensure the lobby and front office are always presentable.
  • Leasing Support: Conduct tours, collect guest information, assist with applications, and support move-ins, renewals, and move-outs.
  • Resident Relations: Answer calls, emails, and chats promptly; distribute notices and community updates; and ensure a positive resident experience.
  • Service Requests: Log maintenance requests, track progress, and communicate updates to residents.
  • Payments & Documentation: Process rent payments and fees, issue receipts, maintain transaction records, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and privacy standards.
  • Amenity & Event Coordination: Manage reservations, prepare event spaces, assist with setup/cleanup, and enforce community rules.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate daily traffic logs, update occupancy reports, and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, leasing, or front desk operations (multifamily experience preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Professional communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; comfortable with CRM or work-order systems.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for inter-property assignments.
