50+ hours per week
Job Description:
We are hiring Produce Warehouse Associates for a cold storage facility for Grading and Stacking fruits and vegetables. This role involves preparing, handling, and packaging fresh produce in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Associates are responsible for sorting produce by size, weight, and quality, as well as packaging, stacking, labeling, and wrapping pallets for shipment. This is a physically active role that requires frequent lifting, bending, and moving boxes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and categorize fruit and vegetables based on size, weight, and quality
- Inspect produce for damage and ensure quality standards are met
- Package and close boxes for shipping
- Stack boxes onto pallets and wrap pallets with stretch wrap
- Label boxes and pallets accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and cold storage protocols
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a cold storage environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- No prior experience required; training provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physical environment
